The song was performed, recorded, and produced by Devon Barclay in his home studio. The lead vocal take was done with a SE2200 into a Focusrite Clarett 8preX; vocal processing done with Waves CLA Vocals plug-in. Acoustic piano is Spectrasonic’s Keyscape.

    This is a very old (1600’s) and beautiful Scottish folk song or verse. It has been recorded by many artists in many versions. This is my arrangement destined for my folk album (in slow progress), to go along with a Blues – R+B album also in (slow) progress. Never enough time.
