  • I rented a Yamaha Moxf6 last winter for a few weeks and this is the only track I recorded using only that. Everything that you hear besides the Riq groove in the background is improvised on the keys. I was really inspired by “Agharta” era Miles Davis. I picked an ambiguous scale for the string part and added layers. Enjoy!

  • I play guitar and bass, have been in a few bands since being a founding member of a band called Gem in the 70s. Currently not in a band and do some home recording, and when necessary record at my good friend Juan Carlos Coronado’s studio. On this re-recording of Alter Ego I used my 1988 Floral Jem for rhythm guitars and my 2013 Les Paul Traditional for the lead guitar track. Juan played the drum track fantastically!!!
