Mike Maillet – Let U Go (f. Kelslug)

Mike has playing music for 30 years. He is a self taught musician who has always made music a priority in his life. He has been teaching music for 20 years and is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, arranger, sound designer and music producer and engineer. In his early musical life, he sang with Shania Twain, and toured with a band during high school. After high school, he moved to Toronto to play with a band under the Sony Coalition label with Arnold & Eric Lanni. He soon realized that he didn’t know enough about music to warrant that kind of life therefore he returned home to Moncton to study on his own. Soon enough, falling into a teaching career and pushing his limits. He started playing Jazz Fusion with local musicians and eventually started his own Jazz Fusion Ensemble called « Micheal Maillet Ensemble ». Always passionate about sound in general, he began studying sound engineering and sound design. These days he enjoys his time in his home studio working with all sorts of different artists. His electronic music is under the alias of « SineOut ».

Alannah Clark – Shelter

Alannah has performed widely in the Comox Valley and other Vancouver Island communities as well as the lower mainland. In spring 2018 she toured the UK and Europe with fellow Comox Valley singer songwriter, Joey Clarkson. Alannah performs with Valley based musicians, Jesse McCloy (lead guitar), Jacob Gregory (bass) and Jonathan Hinds (drums/percussion). She is an advocate for mental health/raising awareness for mental illness, and her songwriting strongly reflects that. Her debut EP (« Dear June ») was released in November 2017, at Aurora Music Studios.

« Shelter » was written by Alannah, and was recorded/produced at Aurora Music Studios (www.auroramusicstudios.com) in Comox, British Columbia with Jacob Gregory. We used the Aston Origin, Stealth and the ART Pro Channel, amongst other Yorkville products, and recorded with Logic.

Lead vocals/rhythm guitar: Alannah Clark
