Dave Johnston – Many Miles To Go

I play guitar and sing in this band called « Confusionaires » which and also features LP42’s assistant manager Jayson Aschenmeier on bass & backup vocals, and LP40 alumni Adam Stark on drums.

The track was recorded at ‘Edmontone Studio’ in Edmonton.

Many Miles To Go

Patrick Lemieux – Wallaroo Trail

We’re Clavius, a post rock band from our nations capital. This is our only song that was recorded with a singer, which he wrote his own lyrics and laid it down in one take. I play guitar as well as write most of the music for the band. We originated as a two piece (me and a drummer) but we eventually obtained more members to fill the wall of noise.

I use a 2011 Mexi Strat, through a pedalboard and into a Twin Reverb. My pedal chain includes: Polytune, OCD, Rat2, BigSky, Visual Sound Tap Delay (very underrated), Re-20 Space Echo and a Line6 DL4, mainl used for quick looping on stage.

We also have an album out, which you can check on our bandcamp.

Thank you!

Mike Stevenson – Hollywood Bed

Apparently a band called « The Blasters » wrote this song but I have never been able to find a recording of it. It was taught to me by guitarist Rob Quail, bassist Sam Caruthers, and drummer Nelson Poirier in a band called « Clarksdale ». We put a L&M staff CD together to raise funds for the music therapy drive and I thought it would be fun to collaborate with my talented and fun-loving colleagues here at L&M Burlington. George Appleton is on guitar, Steve Pelletier recorded it, and played bass and drums on it as well…thank you gentlemen!
